After today’s morning jog, the group of us Michel, Anthony, Leroy and Me went to grab some breakfast. We ventured into two establishments, our favourite haunt the NTUC FoodFare food court and Xin Wang Cafe.
At Xin Wang, we ordered the Bo Lo Bun. Essentially a warm toasted sweet bun with a slab of butter and a slice of juicy pineapple in the middle. It was a myriad of flavours with the complex texture of butter, sweet and tangy refreshing feel of the pineapple and the sultry warm feel of the toasted bun. Very nice and at $1.90 per pc, I reckon its worth it.
This was my first time ordering Dian Xin from the food court. Not too bad with Siew Mai being $0.80 per piece and $2.20 for the Black Bean Pork Ribs. Good enough fare for an air conditioned food court.
I always love the Steamed Pork Ribs. Slightly sweet with the savoury saltiness of the pork pieces and black bean. Divine, if it does not adhere to the hips. I can’t wait to see what I’m going to eat later.
