De Dietrich, the premium kitchen appliance brand hailing from France has unveiled its 2012 collection – Jewels in the Kitchen. Boasting sleek designs in minimalist finishes, each appliance in its own right add a wonderful touch to any kitchen.

Some of the chefs who use De Dietrich appliances in their own kitchen include Chef Andre Chiang from Andre, Chef Julien Bompard from Le Saint Julien, Chef Diego Chiarini from OSO Ristorante and Chef Pang Kok Keong of the Sugar Daddy Group. During De Dietrich media event earlier this year, all 4 chefs were down to grace the event.

Le-Piano-Zoneless-Induction-Hob

I have seen the collection and was impressed by its very sleek design. Perhaps the best word for it is shiny, so much that I want to use it all the more for cooking. What has really attracted me is the Le Piano Zoneless Induction Hob ($11,880) which allows you to place any induction pots and pans at any spot. Catering up to 5 different pots of any size at any one time, this is one hob which will surely be a great tool in the kitchen. Furthermore, the individual pots can be programmed to have different temperature levels. Even with removing it and replacing it back on the stove, the computer memory in the hob will reprogram back the exact temperature as before. Excited? I sure am.
