Town Restaurant at The Fullerton Hotel is proud to host Taiwanese Guest Chef Frank Ho Chien Pin for a culinary extravaganza till 19th April, this coming Sunday! For this special lineup, Chef Ho will present over 30 authentic Taiwanese dishes in addition to Town Restaurant’s existing buffet spread.

Look out for my favourites such as the Three-Cup Chicken, Honey Marinated Cherry Tomatoes and the Freshly prepared Dan Tsu Noodles. Oyster fans will also love the Braised Oysters in Black Bean Sauce, and those who must have their Kou-Rou Bao will be pleased to note that Chef Ho has whipped up a version that is slightly fatty, ostensibly healthier and textured with grounded peanuts.
Complementing the mains is a selection of Taiwanese snacks like the fragrant Penghu Black Sugar Cake, Peanut Mochi, Suncake and Pineapple Cakes.
In all, this Taiwanese Buffet Spread is a good variation from the regular buffet spread. The usual sashimi and seafood counter, excellent chicken rice and roast duck serving stations is a good way to add even more variety to the plate. However, while some of my best experiences of Taiwanese foods come from stores lining the streets, this is probably the next best thing without leaving the country and having the meal in a very comfortable setting.
Thank you The Fullerton Hotel for the invitation.
