Durian Malay Cake
The much lauded Goodwood Park Hotel’s Durian Fiesta will delight the tastebuds of all guests from now till 13 July 2014! In addition to the much anticipated Mao Shan Power Puff making its return, the line up will also include new treats such as the Durian Gula Melaka Roll, the Durian Malay Cake as well as the Mini Durian Charlotte.
Furthermore, starting 31st May, the Coffee Lounge will also serve its acclaimed Dessert buffet with Durian pastries during lunch and dinner. Enjoy the Durian Gula Melaka Roll, Mini Durian Doughnut, Durian Trifle, Durian Puff, Durian Mousse Cake and a la minute Durian pancakes to satisfy all your durian cravings. All these in addition to the rest of the sweet treats already available on the buffet line up.
Mini Durian Doughnut
The Mini Durian Doughnut comes with a generous piping of rich durian mousse, topped with glace cherry in petite pinwheel shaped portions. Available at $9 for 2 pieces or $25 for 6 pieces, all set for that excellent tea time accompaniment.
Durian Gula Melaka Roll
The Durian Gula Melaka Roll ($10 per slice, $62 per 1kg roll) is the Asian interpretation of the traditional Swiss Roll. The fluffy, soft creation comes filled with luscious D24 durian mousse ensconced within layers of vanilla sponge that is drizzled with fragrant gula melaka.
Mini Durian Charlotte
The Mini Durian Charlotte is an adaptation of the classic Charlotte Russe layered dessert comprising ladyfingers and cream. An elegant, bite-sized treat that features D24 mousse between the crisp yet spongy ladyfingers, lastly finished with a crunchy hazelnut base topped with white chocolate coated cornflakes.
