Fuse, Marina Bay Sand’s Lobby Lounge, is set to delight patrons with their Happy Hour promotions and Live Music entertainment on various nights throughout the week! From Sunday to Thursday, 4pm to 9pm, indulge in special 1 for 1s and engage in complimentary sliders, chicken fingers and satay (6pm to 8pm). Three bands will also take the stage separately each night of the week, ranging from Pop and Rock to Evergreen Retro tunes, just to set the mood for you right after Happy Hour ends.
Mondays to Wednesdays, 9pm – 12.45am
Wind down to JEM’s stripped down versions of Top 40’s numbers ranging from Pop and Rock to Evergreen genres. The acoustic band consists of Jacklyn Lee on vocals, Elijah Tan on guitar and keyboard, and Murale on percussions.
Thursdays & Fridays, 9pm – 12.45am
Let loose with irresistible Two Tone’s Top 40s hits. The crowd-pleasing group features the gutsy vocals of Beverly Morata or Jenny Vasquez and Daniel Law on guitar.
Saturdays & Sundays, 9pm – 12.45am
Catch one of our best-known local bands as it strums to retro and modern rock tunes. Formed in 2002 by main vocalist Jeff Catz, the three-piece ensemble is a well-known Singapore favorite and famous for their hit covers.
Grey Goose martini
For Happy Hour, Sundays to Thursday 4pm to 9pm, indulge in
• 1-for-1 Tiger beer
• 1-for-1 house pour red or white wine
• 1-for-1 Grey Goose martini or Grey Goose single serves
• Complimentary sliders, satay and chicken fingers (6pm – 8pm)
• Complimentary self-parking with minimum spend of S$50
Interesting concoctions are also available on the menu. First, we have the Grey Berry Bramble. Made from a mix of French Earl Grey infused Gin, Blueberry syrup, fresh lemon juice and soda water, this cocktail is a refreshing quencher to slowly ease you into the calm of the night. The distinct notes of earl grey and mix of gin with the preppy soda water lends a crisp sparkle with floral notes, nicely highlighted with lemon tang and bits of fresh blueberry.
The Raspresso Martini is a stronger creation that features Skyy Vodka, Harveys Bristol Cream and Espresso. Served chilled in a trough of ice, this Raspresso is easily described as seductive and full of body.
Complimentary bites are available from 6pm to 8pm on a first come first serve basis. I didn’t particularly fancy them and found them just barely adequate as an accompaniment to the drinks. Choose from Angus Beef Slider with Cheddar Cheese, Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce and Chicken Tenders with Barbecue Sauce.
For those who like a bit of a sweet and sour touch throughout the night, the choice of Chocolate Raspberry Cake is a clear classic that will please many. Made with a dark chocolate sponge, homemade raspberry jam and raspberry-chambord ganache, this portion goes exceptionall well with the Raspresso Martini. The flavours of chocolate, coffee and touches of sour sweet raspberry are always a beautiful mix. Couple that with notes of creaminess throughout, and what you have is a decadent night to come.
Fuse is that casual lobby bar which will easily satisfy hotel guests who need a classic drink or a nightcap to settle into the night. The decor is snazzy with a relaxing vibe throughout, and the drinks can vary from the tropical concoctions to the classics, providing something for everybody. It might just be the place to hang out before or after dinner, or if you simply need to while the evening away.
