SANTI at Marina Bay Sands is now open for lunch on Sundays with a selection of dishes featuring their Catalan roots. The celebrity chef restaurant, normally opened for dinners, now offers diners another option with a scenic bright afternoon view gazing into the picturesque Marina Bay Promenade while tucking into flavorful dishes from the earth and the sea.
This refreshing choice comes with a set menu of a starter, an entree, a main and a dessert at $88. Wine pairing is also available upon request. For the good and the tasty, SANTI’s cuisine is all about wholesome ingredients married harmoniously together. Each ingredient plays up to be the centerpiece of the dish, especially for dishes like the Black Rice calamari and octopus served with Aglio oli cream or the Catalan fish and seafood stew whose sweet aroma is the first to tantalize upon revealation.

I’ve been to Dhoby Ghaut plenty of times and each time I walked past Charly T’s, I’ve always thought it was just another Western cafe/bistro/restaurant. And to add to that, I didn’t even know the place was called NOMU. But nevermind that, as for Charly T’s it is not just your regualr Western cuisine joint, but rather a doorway into a selection of International Cuisine that Charly himself experienced while he was globetrotting throughout the continents when he was younger.
Charly T’s is said to encapsulate the hometown flavours of each dish while bringing them to Singapore to let guests savour an experience beyond borders. From their famous Rotisserie chicken which has been wonderfully marinated for over ten hours and Asian creations like the Kampong Amber Sticks, coupled with choices of sauces of up to 9 varieties, this is one restaurant with a chill out vibe to Jazz, Food, Travel and more.

Tanjong Katong is almost like a street full of surprises. If you take a stroll past the shophouses, there will be many outlets of unique interest here and there. My previous visit to the area brought me to Bruno’s Pizzeria and Grill where I experienced a very tasty and creamy Linguine Al Granchio.
Top Left – My meal for the day, Top Right – Quesadillas, Bottom Left – Churros Con Chocolate, Bottom Right – Sangria
And just down the road newly opened three months ago is my visit for the day – Cocina de Pasion, a quaint establishment of heartwarming Spanish cuisine from the rustic full flavoured and hearty oven baked Paella to the mouthwatering fragrant Churros with Chocolate sauce. Appetites prepared?
